Welcome to The Modern Odyssey: A Shared Adventure Into the Future (Wrapping up January 2025)

Hello, Fellow Explorers! I’m Joon, the writer behind the blog THE MODERN ODYSSEY. What does the year 2025 mean to you? For me, it’s a time filled with opportunities and fascinating adventures brought by emerging technologies, but also a time of fear—fear of falling behind and failing to adapt to this ever-changing world. As I face the waves of technological advancements, I often worry whether the knowledge and experiences I’ve built so far might crumble like sandcastles. That worry led me to wonder—are there others out there who feel the same way? With that thought, I decided to start THE MODERN ODYSSEY.

This blog is my way of adapting to this rapidly evolving world—by gathering information and sharing it with others who may share the same anxieties. Together, we can overcome the fear born from ignorance and prepare ourselves to ride these waves of change, letting them push us forward instead of holding us back.

Over the past month, January 2025, I’ve primarily covered topics like AI tools, automation, the digital nomad lifestyle, emerging gadgets, and future lifestyles. I plan to continue exploring these themes next month as well. Recently, I’ve been considering tailoring content separately for beginners, intermediates, and experts. If you have any suggestions about this, feel free to share them. If I move forward with this plan, I’ll write posts with simpler concepts and explanations for beginners, even if it means overlapping a bit with past topics, while also diving into cutting-edge research (including academic papers) for expert readers.
